Fonts:
Depending on your layout program, if you have the option to convert your fonts to outlines, please do. This will ensure your fonts will not default during the RIP. If you are unable to convert fonts to outlines, include all fonts being used in both your support files and your layout files (both the printer and postscript font for Macintosh computers). Make sure when making font styles in your layout bold, italic, etc., DO NOT use the stylize menu bars for this in your application program. The actual font (i.e. Times Bold, Times Italic) will need to be selected from your font list.

Bleed and Crop Marks:
• All layout files created in Illustrator should have trim marks.
• All layout files that show full artwork to trim require a minimum of 1/8" bleed around them.

Pantone Color Matching:
If you are working with Pantone colors in your files, please spec them clearly where used. Please provide proofs or color swatches if possible. All color output devices vary in color. This is why your color laser proof will most likely not match the final screen printed piece.

Resolution of Pixel Based Images and File Size:
When supplying art for screen printing, support files should be created at 100% @ 150dpi (i.e. 40x48) before placing your final layout for output. You may also set up your files at 50% @ 300 dpi. (i.e. 20x24).

Vector Art:
Vector is art is usually created in either Illustrator or Freehand. It is recommended if you are creating any type of logo or illustrations for your layout you use either of these two programs. By creating your artwork in these two programs, you can enlarge your artwork almost indefinitely without losing your clean edges.
